Lower Baker Unit 4 Turbine Install

This project consisted of the installation of a new 30MW vertical Francis turbine generator at the new Unit 4 powerhouse at Puget Sound Energy’s Lower Baker Reservoir.

We were a key subcontractor on the design-build team responsible for the installation of the new turbine generator, scroll case, draft tube, cooling air and water systems, governor system, lube oil system, hydraulic system, air systems, ancillary powerhouse piping, and 108-inch TIV.
